The Code for Change is proud to host our inaugural Digital Inclusion & Tech Fair on October 10, 2026 in Prince George’s County during National Digital Inclusion Week—a time dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of ensuring that everyone has access to the technology, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s digital world.
For us, this event is about more than technology. It is about people, possibility, and opportunity.
Across our community, technology touches nearly every part of daily life—from applying for jobs and accessing healthcare to completing schoolwork, starting a business, managing finances, and staying connected with family. Yet too many residents still face barriers to reliable internet access, digital tools, training, and exposure to the careers and opportunities being created by today’s rapidly changing economy.
The Digital Inclusion & Tech Fair is designed to help close those gaps by bringing resources directly into the community.
Families, students, job seekers, older adults, entrepreneurs, and lifelong learners will have the opportunity to explore technology, connect with employers and community organizations, learn about digital skills and career pathways, and participate in conversations about how innovation can create greater economic opportunity.
Hosting our first fair during National Digital Inclusion Week makes this moment especially meaningful. It gives Prince George’s County an opportunity to join communities across the country in recognizing that digital access and digital skills are no longer luxuries—they are essential tools for education, employment, entrepreneurship, and economic mobility.
At The Code for Change, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in the digital future, regardless of age, background, or previous experience with technology.
Our vision is to help move our community from access to opportunity—from simply having technology available to knowing how to use it to build skills, pursue careers, grow businesses, solve problems, and create a better future.
This inaugural Digital Inclusion & Tech Fair is just one step, but it represents something much bigger: a commitment to building a more connected, informed, skilled, and empowered Prince George’s County.
We invite our neighbors, families, businesses, educators, employers, and community partners to join us as we celebrate technology, discover new possibilities, and work together to ensure that no one is left behind in our increasingly digital world.
The future is digital—and everyone deserves a place in it.
